On 25 November, 2024, an exclusive meeting with YM Tengku Tan Sri Dr. Mahaleel Tengku Arif took place at Kolej Kediaman Pertama, Universiti Malaya (ASTAR UM). The meeting was attended by the Principal of ASTAR, the college management team, representatives of the ALLSTAR UM Alumni Committee, and student leaders from the ASTAR JTK.
YM Tengku Tan Sri Dr. Mahaleel is a distinguished ASTAR alumnus who has contributed significantly by offering his expertise, ideas, and financial sponsorship to support the college's development during his involvement.
The main agenda of the meeting was a collaborative discussion about the organization of ASTAR GALA NIGHT 2025 (AGN) and the role of ALLSTAR UM in supporting the growth of the ASTAR community, including both students and alumni.
YM Tengku also shared his experiences as a student and his career journey in the industry and higher education institutions. During the session, YM Tengku provided insightful perspectives on the challenges of today's competitive world and the importance of employability for the younger generation.
